Difficulty falling asleep, waking frequently or waking unrefreshed for more than three weeks usually has psychological and behavioural components. At Sone Wellbeing Unit in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, sleep problems are assessed by a clinical psychologist and addressed with cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), often the first-line approach.

This condition involves more than one of our units. As a wellbeing unit, our teams work together in the same process; you do not travel between different addresses.
Sleep diary and habits are reviewed; sleep scheduling, stimulus control and thoughts about sleep are worked on. Underlying anxiety or low mood is addressed.
Late heavy meals, caffeine and alcohol timing directly affect sleep; a dietitian adjusts the evening routine.
Loud snoring, breathing pauses or restless legs need a medical sleep assessment. Otherwise a psychologist can start the assessment.
